Are you a student searching for an education free from the traditional classroom environment with flexible hours yet still lands you your required credits? Look no further – Riverside Virtual School is now accepting applications for their interest form for the 2023-2024 school year.

Riverside Virtual School has been running since 2007; Riverside Virtual School offers a top-notch learning experience on its online platforms with courses aligned with most curriculums across California and language programs to support enrichment. Students will learn valuable skills such as time management and organization, contributing to their success.

What is Riverside Virtual School?

Riverside Virtual School (RVS) strives to revolutionize the traditional school experience. Through district-issued Chromebooks, they provide real-time live virtual instruction daily.

Students attend a bell schedule and should anticipate access to comparable standards-aligned instructional materials, qualified instructors, academic and non-academic personnel, equipment, and internet connection—community-building activities such as park days.

Students can also receive food at the main central kitchen at 6050 Industrial Ave, Riverside, CA 92504, phone number: (951)-353-6740 ext. 82800. Students also have access to a teacher advisor they meet with weekly to ensure they reach their school year goals.

Students also have different opportunities to socialize with their fellow students during virtual and in-person events. For example, students can come on-site for movie nights or game nights. They also have virtual options for students who aren’t able to join.

Student Hires Programs

Our primary objective at Student Hires is to uplift disadvantaged kids in our community by providing them with practical, experience-based learning opportunities. To do so, we collaborate with college students who serve as mentors and role models for K–12 pupils.

Our programs are designed to equip these young people with the skills and knowledge they’ll need to succeed in future careers. We also provide breakfast and lunch during our Luv2Play summer program now. We have a variety of nutritious meals that we know our children will enjoy on offer.

By leveraging education’s strength and local involvement, we aim to break the cycle of poverty by equipping our youngsters with the tools necessary for their full potential realization.

Conclusion

Riverside Unified School District is always looking out for its students and trying to offer different ways to learn from anywhere with Riverside Virtual School. Sign up for their interest from here!
